Ellis Palmero, MA, RP (Clinical director)

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I have over 7 years experience as a therapist. I work with children (8+), teens, youth and adults and I specialize primarily on anxiety disorders (worries, fears, and panic), stress management, substance abuse, emotional regulation and interpersonal communication. My main therapeutic approaches are CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness which are tailored to the specific needs of each client. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and able to see refugee claimants and Registered First Nations people.
Sherri Tanchak, PhD, MSW, RSW
Sherri has a PhD in Social Work and has previously worked as a frontline worker, advocate, counsellor, policy analyst, researcher and post-secondary social work instructor. Over the last three years, she has predominantly focused her career as a therapist offering services to adults and adolescents seeking support with anxiety, depression, domestic violence, bullying and harassment, grief and bereavement, occupational stress and trauma, and sexual assault. Sherri also has experience providing couples/relationships therapy and can provide trauma therapy.
Christine Winkle, RSSW
Christine has more than 7 years experience as a therapist. She works with folks from a person-centered and trauma informed approach guided in modalities of Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Somatic practices, Dialectical-Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She supports folks struggling with depression, mood disorders, anxiety, anger, stress, attachment, relationships, substance abuse, trauma, and nervous system dysregulation. Christine works with clients older than 15 years old, youth and adults.
Olga Shik, RP (Qualifying)
Olga is a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology Intern at Yorkville University. She has a rich background that spans several fields, including Athletic Therapy and First Response. With a keen interest in the interplay between mental and physical health, Olga brings a holistic perspective to her practice, recognizing the profound impact this relationship has on the human body and psyche. She specializes in working with anxiety, self-compassion, and self-esteem but is also able to see clients experiencing other mental health challenges.
Olga will be offering therapy at more affordable rates. She works with teens older than 14 years old, youth and adults.
